Quad A Board Appoints William B. Rosenblatt Board President

The Board of Directors for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (Quad A) appointed William B. Rosenblatt, MD, as the organization’s president of the board of directors on May 2, 2020.

“The entire Quad A staff and board are excited by Dr. Rosenblatt’s election as President; facilities and surveyors should be as well. Dr. Rosenblatt’s efficient approach and pragmatic philosophy will keep the organization nimble, responsive, at the forefront of patient safety,” said Thomas S. Terranova, JD MA MBA, Executive Director of Quad A.

Rosenblatt, a surgeon specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery, has served as an Quad A surveyor for over ten years and has served as a new surveyor trainer. Rosenblatt has served on the Quad A board of directors since 2014 and has been an integral member of many committees and task forces.

Rosenblatt serves as an Associate Director in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital and as Assistant Professor of Surgery at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. Rosenblatt served as the President of The Medical Society of the State of New York during the 2004-2005 term.

Rosenblatt received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed residencies in Otolaryngology at Metropolitan Hospital and Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, both in New York City. Rosenblatt achieved board certification through The American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and The American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
