The FDA Updates Its FAQs On The Use Of Cloth Gowns

The FDA has published updated information allowing facilities the flexibility of using cloth gowns, as long as they are not used in a sterile field such as surgery, and they are laundered with an enzymatic detergent or per hospital standard operating procedure.  Please see the FDA FAQ webpage on Shortages of Surgical Masks and Gowns for more detail.
