Dianne began working with QUAD A in 2008 as a surveyor and has since become instrumental in our shared mission of advancing patient safety. The Louisiana native has over 30 years of clinical experience across various specialties and a proven track record of excellence in healthcare administration, practice management, and regulatory compliance. Her years of dedication to her work brings valuable depth and direction to QUAD A’s mission.

Dianne attended Louisiana State University and later graduated from Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dianne started her career as a Staff Nurse in Labor & Delivery and quickly advanced to management. Later, she entered the world of Aesthetics as a Nursing Administrator at an office-based surgery center in Plano, Texas. Her extensive career is grounded in the real-world demands of healthcare delivery, spanning peri-operative nursing, ASC administration, procedural sedation, rural health clinic compliance, and includes accreditation leadership at QUAD A, program development with The Compliance Team, and direct nursing care in hospitals and outpatient clinics across Texas and Louisiana.

Dianne has a unique blend of clinical expertise and administrative strategy. She is certified in perioperative nursing (CNOR), has held the prestigious Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) credential, and has served as a Patient-Centered Medical Home Facilitator. Her impact is equally felt outside the survey room through national speaking engagements, publications on infection control and compliance, and mentorship of emerging healthcare leaders.

Dianne’s leadership extends beyond her professional titles. As a former president and vice president of the Organization of Facial Plastic Surgical Assistants (OFPSA), she helped organize international educational events and guided the development of best practices in office-based surgery. Her service with the Children & Community Health Center of McKinney and the Medical Reserve Corps of Texas reflects her commitment to community health.

Many members of the QUAD A community may already be familiar with Dianne, either as a surveyor or standards educator. As a longtime surveyor for QUAD A, Dianne has played a key role in shaping how accreditation is delivered, notably during pivotal moments like the rollout of virtual inspections in 2020. She recently gave a presentation on how to navigate the updated QUAD A standards in their surveys to assist with a smooth transition for the adoption of the new standards.

Dianne’s addition to the QUAD A Board strengthens our organization and the communities we serve. Her insights, compassion, and attention to detail have helped surveyors and facilities maintain compliance in the pursuit of excellent patient care. Her leadership will be instrumental in forging a future where compliance is a cornerstone of compassionate, effective care.
