LISA NAGLE, RN
SENIOR CONSULTANT
Lisa Nagle is a Registered Nurse and Senior Consultant at VMG Health, based in Illinois. With over 24 years of clinical nursing experience, in which 19 years were in outpatient surgery, Lisa has been instrumental in developing, managing, securing and maintaining licensure, accreditation, and Medicare certification for single and multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). She has served as a Senior Consultant with VMG Health since 2025. Lisa holds an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Colorado Springs, CO, and a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
Prior to joining VMG Health, Lisa honed her expertise in ASC development, operations, compliance, staff training, infection control, risk management, DEA compliance, and safety. She has successfully led the implementation of electronic medical record (EMR) and inventory management systems across multiple centers. Throughout her clinical and leadership career—as a circulating nurse, pre/PACU nurse, sterile processing professional, pre-admission testing nurse, Director of Nursing, and Administrator—Lisa has been integral to the establishment and growth of several ASCs.
In addition to her consulting work, Lisa has served as a legal nurse consultant and expert witness, providing guidance on healthcare standards and regulations. She is an active member of AORN and ASCA and is currently pursuing her Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) certification. Lisa is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
