The content is appropriate for new healthcare staff or those needing a refresher on current nationally recognized infection control and prevention guidelines.
 

Upon completion of the webinar, attendees will be able to:

  1. Identify the core infection control practices required in the outpatient surgical setting.
  2. Understand how the reprocessing requirements change for patient care devices classified as critical, semi-critical, and non-critical.
  3. Recognize the language and pictograms used to identify medications, supplies, and devices designated as single-use.
