President, Board of Directors

Dr. William Rosenblatt has been with QUAD A since 2015 and has served as President of the Board of Directors since 2020. 

A plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Rosenblatt has centered his career around patient safety since earning his medical degree in 1973. 

After five decades, his commitment to that cause is unwavering. 

“ My current state and national committee appointments highlight my commitment to patient safety, which has been a hallmark of my professional career,” said Dr. Rosenblatt. “Because of my involvement in patient safety in office-based surgery, I have become a regular mentor to my colleagues on ethical issues in the practice of medicine. My stewardship of Quad A furthers my years of service to physicians and patients and I am honored to be able to continue my commitment to the safety of patients through my association with Quad A and its rigorous standards for office-based surgery.”

Dr. Rosenblatt has helped write laws requiring certification for physicians in New York state who operate in their offices. 

In his career, Dr. Rosenblatt has served on 12 medical and governmental bodies that advocate for patient safety and is a member of several medical organizations at the state and national levels. 

His writings have been featured in scholarly journals and popular media publications such as Cosmopolitan Magazine, the New York Times, and Harper’s.  

Dr. Rosenblatt has made media appearances on nine major television talk shows and television stations and has been featured on radio programs. 

Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Rosenblatt is married to Elyse Grusky, a medical writer. He has a daughter, a stepdaughter, and a son. 

His hobbies and interests include flying kites, radio-controlled airplanes, and snow and water skiing. He also has a self-professed obsession with playing Spider in his downtime.
