Medicare Programs

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is part of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). CMS provides health coverage to more than 100 million people through Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the Health Insurance Marketplace.

***Medicare Program Applicants must fill out a CMS form before applying for accreditation.

 

Medicare Surgical (ASC)

Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) are facilities that participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs for reimbursement. ASCs, sometimes called surgicenters, specialize in providing surgery, including certain pain management and diagnostic (e.g., colonoscopy) services in an outpatient setting.

Medicare Physical Therapy

Our Medicare Outpatient Physical Therapy Program assesses the quality of therapeutic care in physical therapy and speech pathology clinics. These clinics may also offer occupational therapy.

Medicare Rural Health Clinics

Quad A’s Rural Health Program provides an avenue for Medicare and Medicaid participation for primary care clinics in rural and medically under-served areas. Clinics located in a census tract within a non-urban designation and in a medically under-served area, or an area with a designated health professional shortage may participate in this program.
