Presented by Dianne Bourque, RN, CNOR, this 45-minute webinar will review the process for identifying facility-specific infection risks, enabling effective staff education, and appropriate resource allocation.  The content is appropriate for healthcare professionals new to the Infection Preventionist (IP) role, as well as experienced IPs preparing to update their annual Infection Control Risk Assessment. 
Upon completion of the webinar, attendees will be able to:

  1. Identify which departmental representatives should participate in preparing the infection control risk assessment (ICRA).
  2. Describe the process for completing an ICRA.
  3. Discuss how the ICRA Results are used to set goals, objectives, and strategies for the next year.
