Lawrence S. Reed

Treasurer

Dr. Lawrence Reed is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He is a fully trained general surgeon and completed his training at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate Hospital. He completed his training in Plastic Surgery at the New York hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center now called the New York Presbyterian Hospital. That training included training at Memorial Sloan, Kettering, and the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is in private practice in New York City and helps train the residents in Plastic Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.

 Dr. Reed has been a long-standing member of the QUAD A group, having joined shortly after it was founded in 1981. He has served as president and secretary-treasurer, and now serves as treasurer.

 He is committed to the QUAD A credo of establishing patient safety standards for outpatient surgical facilities and to the regulation and enforcement of those standards. He believes that the Quad A board members and the incredible staff of Quad A are devoted to patient safety and serve selflessly in this organization.

 Dr. Reed has two children and two grandchildren. In his spare time, Dr. Reed works in the movie industry where he acts as a medical consultant to films in production. He has worked on eight feature films made by MAJOR Studios.
