Melissa Schmidt

Director of Education

Melissa, our highly skilled and seasoned Director of Education, is dedicated to leveraging her two decades of experience in research and education to transform QUAD A’s data and the experience of subject matter experts into impactful multimedia courses that help both practitioners and patients develop confidence and fluency around patient safety. Melissa collaborates closely with QUAD A staff, Executive Board members, and other faculty to identify and address the areas where knowledge gaps are greatest, then develop tools to meet those needs. 

Melissa has overseen academic research journal operations across seven specialties and spearheaded the launch of various digital-native educational programs. Her notable projects include helping to launch the online CME repository PedsEducation.org and developing training programs for Aesthetic Neural Network and Optica Publishing Group.

With a Master of Education in Adult Education for Health Professionals and specialized training in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Melissa is committed to fostering accessible and supportive educational initiatives. She passionately believes in the transformative power of education tailored to diverse learners, aligning with QUAD A’s mission of Patients First. Always.
