December 24, 2021, the NY Department of Health shared this updated guidance with the OBS Practices in the state.
The information contained in this guidance supersedes portions of previously issued Return to Work guidance for Healthcare Personnel and other previous guidance related to returning to work after SARS-CoV-2 infection. This guidance provides specific guidance that allow employers to reduce the number of days of isolation for mild or asymptomatic cases in fully vaccinated persons from 10 days to 5 days.
QUAD A will continue to update facilities as the details of the new requirements are announced.
