QUAD A Recognizes Physician Anesthesiologists Week

In celebration of Physician Anesthesiologists Week, I feel that it is the opportune time to review the alignment of QUAD A’s mission with those of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) and the medical practice of anesthesiology.

Everyone involved in the planning and performance of medical procedures knows that surgeons are not the only people taking care of the patients - entire teams of physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals are devoted to ensuring safe and successful surgeries and recoveries.

The ASA is dedicated to raising and maintaining the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology and improving patient care. The stars in the ASA’s logo represent one of their guiding principles of constant and eternal vigilance, and QUAD A’s mission is similar to this guiding principle, putting patients first, always.

Within the wide array of QUAD A’s accreditation standards, there are many that align with the ASA’s standards for anesthesia care, including patient monitoring before, during, and after medical procedures, emergency preparation protocols, and malignant hyperthermia contraction protocols.

We commend the work all physician anesthesiologists do to maintain patient safety during medical procedures that require anesthesia and the ASA’s mission to raise and maintain the standards of care for anesthesiology. We hope to maintain our alignment of values of putting patients first, always.

At QUAD A, our goal is to be your go-to provider for accreditation – always striving to be an effective, efficient, and easy-to-work-with partner that values education, reliability, and communication.
